 I think you’re a coward 

You stand there and act all tough 

Guys are all scared of you 

You go to the gym and get all buff

But love scares you

You cower in fear 

Because right when we were good

You were nowhere near 

The thought of being with me terrifies you

But why? I do not know

because you have this imagine of how your life should go

I don’t fit the idea of what you have in your head

You would rather leave me and be with her instead 

I bet you don’t talk the way we used to

I bet she doesn’t understand the way you tick like I do.  

You’re scared of how much you fell for me

I am sorry you feel that way.

I may not fit into this fantasy you came up with in your head 

But babe you fell in love me instead 

I know you hate it and it makes you so mad. 

Do your caveman grunts and pretend to not be sad. 

But you’re a coward for using me and throwing me away. 

The fact I had to sit you down just for you to tell me you weren’t going to stay. 

You’re coward for not looking me in the eyes to tell me you found someone else.

I hope she makes you happy but not as happy as I made you. 

Because I don’t think she will ever understand you the way that I do.

The pit

I wish I knew why I hurt so much.   It feels like everything is pouring out of me.  I struggle to get out of bed in the morning.  I’ve lost my hope and motivation. I feel myself sinking into this pit and I’m trying to claw myself out.  I start to climb out and I always slip and go back down.  It gets harder to breathe down here. It’s getting darker the more I slide down. Can anyone hear me screaming for help? I feel like my screams are silent.  I just keep searching for a hand to grab to help me out of this pit.  But I know I won’t find one.  There’s no one out there looking for me. Im sliding deeper and deeper down. Maybe one day I  will be  strong enough to climb out.

But a lot

-
  Crying over a man who never loved me.   How pathetic it feels to care so deeply, For a person who doesn’t even want me.  The way I put him first before me.  Will he even think about me once he’s moved to another state? All the times we went bar hopping.  All of our “non-dates”.  I hate how much I’m going to miss you.  The fact you probably will never give me a second thought.  I hate how you will never feel anything for me. When I’m crying about you because I care, not just a little bit, but a lot.
